Everything you would wish for when staying near Coventry and the Warwickshire countryside. All amenities of a very high standard, fantastic food, friendly welcome (and in our case welcome back). The visitors' lounge is particularly comfortable and we were able to spend our evenings there with our friends. Travelling from Surrey, Suffolk and Powys (Mid-Wales) we didn't consider meeting up... Don't even think about staying anywhere else. If, like me, you like to check out a few different places before reaching a decision about where to stay, you really can stop looking now. Barnacle Hall has everything you need and you will really enjoy your stay. The rooms are huge, absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. Rose makes you... More

My advice? Stay here! If you're visiting Warwickshire or Coventry, if you want a genuinely warm welcome from your friendly hostess Rose and her family, if you want to stay in a beautifully historic building in uniquely stylish, comfortable rooms, if you want to wake up after a wonderful night's sleep in the cosy bed, with nothing but the birdsong... If you are looking for that extra special "get away" in Warwickshire, then Barnacle Hall is the place to head for. Warm, spotlessly clean and well appointed, this lovely old house is a treasure with a myriad of beams, nooks and crannies and family memorabilia including some fascinating old family portraits. En-suite bathrooms with a selection of lotions and potions,... More

Barnacle Hall is a superb place to stay and we will most definately return. The Hall itself is steeped in history, rooms very very comfortable, well furnished and warm and cosy. Very comfortable bed too which is a real must for me. The hostess was superb, friendly and gave us lots of information and a really superb breakfast. There is... More

Arriving mid evening with the surroundings covered in snow added a certain charm to a very welcoming building. The 18th century hall has been tastefully modernised inside to retain the key period features, such as wooden beams and sizeable log fireplaces, but ensuring that comfort and the facilities you'd expect from a B&B/hotel are retained. The hosts were friendly and... More

This a delightful farm based B&B with huge amounts of charm and very well run by owners Rose and Dave. We stayed just one night but left on first name terms having been made most welcome to this 18th Century property. Situated in rural farmland, which we saw covered in snow, it is very well located for communications being close... More

Very comfortable and spacious room in lovely surroundings. About 15 minutes from the city centre. A good nights sleep, great breakfast and a host that caters to your every need. Just up the road in Shiton there's a decent pub/restaurant.
