Though a little difficult to get to by car (road construction in the area at the time), its in a great location in the city center. been staying here with work for the last month or so, decent hotel slick reception and spacious rooms, if it has one downfall its the parking, then again for those who travel by train the station is close by. Speedy on reception and the valet parking is also good.

fabulous place to stay , ideal location and the breakfast has everything you could want . if you book a deal make sure you check if the mini bar is included as we only discovered that it is was on check out ... an opportunity missed!

Stayed at the Doubletree on saturday 11th May, it was a birthday suprise from my partner, easy check in, free cookie on arrival, always a bonus for a big lad like me. Room very clean and spacious with everything you need, bed was super comfy. The only downside was waiting for lifts to the amazing SkyBar, but worth the wait... More

Fabulous hotel, I had to use the valet parking as the self park was full but the hotel more than made up for it. The view from my room was stunning and the bedroom itself clean, simple and modern. The iMac was just cool. I will definitely be back! Oh and the sky bar is awesome... If expensive.

Well situated, perfectly placed for a nice stroll on canal,or perfect for the shops. Clean rooms , friendly staff. Parking £12 per night, secure and very near to hotel. Sky lounge very impressive a lovely place to start and finish your evening. We will definitely stay again

The hotel is situated very close to centre and shops, it is next to canal and has bars and restaurants just outside the reception, quiet location but close enough to city centre, reception staff very helpful and efficient and you get a welcome cookie, can't get any better!

Stayed here several times and always had a comfortable room. Compared to a year ago the hotel seemed cleaner and the rooms spotless, good value when on a deal £108 for 2 nights but pricey when not. Good location for walk to city and ample parking. A couple of decent places to eat and drink on doorstep as well
