Very convenient to town centre (walking distance) Friendly staff. Lovely room . Quite a quirky hotel but full of charm . Only stayed one night but would have happily stayed longer . Only one small bad thing ....charged for using a credit card to pay the bill !

stayed at the Fownes Hotel for a weekend away for a family wedding near by, room was comfy and clean, had everything you would expect, breakfast very good lots to eat and good choice. Good produce bacon & sausages very good self serve but overall good vaue for money would stay again
