We had a great stay at The Guest House over the late May bank holiday. Our room (Deri) was ideal, not too big but perfect for a weekend where we intended to spend most of the time out. Jenny was kind enough to book us a taxi for the evening to get us to our restaurant. Breakfast was not a... More

Kevin and jenny sure know how to keep them coming back! Don't stay here if you just want a place to just lay your head because it would be a criminal waste. Definitely starve yourself the day before you arrive and don't plan big dinners while you are there: make sure you have room for poached (don't even dream of... More

Jenny was at her chatty best, the room spotless and the breakfast excellent. Jenny is a real 'card' and provided much mirth and merriment at breakfast, the battle she had with my motor cycling buddy over his request for 'fried eggs' was side splitting, Jenny is proud of her fresh eggs sourced from her own chickens in the rear yard... I have stayed at The Guest House on business trips every two months for the past two years and will continue to do so. Jenny, Kevin and staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are well presented, and the service provided is first class. I have no hesitation in recommending The Guest House for your stay.

Friendly and welcoming from booking through to departure. I stayed for a couple of nights with my daughter, using it as a base for our hikes around the area, and couldn't fault the place. Breakfasts were amazing and our room was clean, comfortable and well-maintained. Nothing was too much trouble and Jenny was a gracious and informative host. My daughter's... More

Stayed overnight whilst at the Abergavenny Steam Rally, and this B and B was in the perfect spot, just along the road from Bailey Park and easily within walking distance of the town centre. Very friendly welcome, and a lovely room, clean and comfortable with an easy to use shower for the morning. Great little view out of the windows,... More

Many thanks to Jenny and Kevin, who made five middle-aged bikers very welcome! We certainly would (and have) recommend more motorcyclists to stay at the Guest House. Fabulous roads (Brecon Beacons, Black Mountains) right on the doorstep. Not to mention Kevin's wonderful aviaries, chickens and ducks. Oh and Joely the friendliest German Sherperd I've ever seen. As for the breakfast's..... More

Secure off-street parking for the motorcycle (I was 1 of a group of 5), a warm welcome, clean & comfy en-suite room and the most generous and delicious breakfast. Add in the menagerie and the 'characterful' Jenny and you have the beginnings of a pretty good stay in Wales. I hope to stay again.

A group of us booked into the Guest house as we came to Wales on a motorbike tour. The B&B was clean and friendly and the breakfast was awesome. Rooms were cosy with all the facilities that you could need. The hosts were extremely friendly and helped us with the local restaurants and amenities. With secure parking for motorbikes I... More

Very warm welcome by Kevin, cosy room with a lot of details and - of course - the best breakfast made by Jenny!!!! The poached eggs... Hm, a delight! We enjoyed our short stay, thank you! (If anybody doesn´t like animals: this won´t be the right place for you... We enjoyed the parrots, the cats, the dogs, the chicken....)
