Went back as we said we would in our first review, we were not disappointed, we had room 2 which was quite spacious with a nice bathroom. Breakfast was as always good and plentiful with a good choice, we ate in most nights and again there was a good choice and with a nice pint too wash it down i... More

This bunkhouse is proper budget accommodation with an OK breakfast in the hotel. Rooms are small, grotty, smell funny and look tired, the walls are paper thin. Definitely don't think that one toilet in each of the men's and women's bathrooms is enough. Bring ear plugs, an eye patch (no blinds on the window) and slippers (a must for the... More

Trying to organise a birthday party at this hotel was the most difficult task EVER!!! As a local girl I thought it would be nice to have my Mums 50th birthday party at this Hotel. On the initial call to enquire availability spoke to a very unhelpful and unknowledgable lady, however manage to ascertain that they were able to accommodate... More

Had a lovely three night stay at this hotel in March 2012. Our room was of an excellent standard for a 3 star hotel with a nice comfortable bed, plenty of space and a modern bathroom with a good shower (needed after walking up Mount Snowdon!) The breakfast was fine, certainly nothing wrong with it. Didn't eat in the restaurant... More

Went with my husband this past weekend. Can't fault the hotel - but the weather - well what do you do? Food was good - we ate in both nights - staff were friendly, room was great. Will return again - but will check the weather report first! More

Just returned from two night break at Gwesty Glanaber. Hotel is lovely, spotlessly clean, bedroom very comfortable, quite large and with a real bath!! Food was excellent, breakfast perfectly cooked and restaurant so good we ate there both nights (choice of 3 different menus at present - festive/specials/traditional pub fare. Staff friendly and service excellent, even though particularly busy as... More

Just spent October half-term here and used the hotel as a walking base. Couldn't have asked for more in terms of loction, accomodation, food and helpfulness of staff, their local knowledge was particularly impressive and the advice they gave helped to make a really good holiday. bedroom appeared a little tired but was spotlessly clean. Pity about the weather but... More

I have used this hotel for many years, as I am a regular walker in the area and had no hesitation in recommending the Gwesty Glan Aber Hotel for an adventure weekend being arranged by my company.... However while the hotel is of good quality, the local attitude toward visitors is anything but. On this occasion a wake was being... More

The hotel does not believe that it should be held responsible for the actions of those using its premises - be those persons local residents or guests and we certainly do not condone violence. The author of this review was involved in a brawl due to comments made between themselves and the other party involved. The hotel is an active... More
