We stumbled upon Park Hill Guest Houaw one dark cold night having driven for 5 hours from London, and what a lovely warm welcome we received from its owner Ghislander. This is a value for money find as it includes a full English breakfast, a beautiful room and free wifi all set in a delightful garden. After a climb to... More

The Park Hill guest house was a great location for a walking holiday in Snowdonia. The rooms are a good size and had a bath - a must after a day on foot! The pool, jacuzzi and sauna are real plus points for a B&B. The breakfast was good and the welcome from the owners extremely friendly and helpful -... More

We found this place on a general internet search and booked without reading any reviews. As always in those circumstances you turn up slightly nervous...but all fears vanished when we got there. It is a large house with character, we stayed the side facing double room which had nice furnishings, a newly done en suite and a very comfortable bed.... More

We spent yesterday walking in the hills around Betws Coed and this was the perfect B&B to return to, swimming pool and sauna to ease away the aches and pains, easy walk to restaurant in town and great breakfast with local produce this morning. And lovely hosts to boot! More

Great value, excellent location. My wife and I stayed here for our wedding anniversary in September 2011. We stayed for three nights. We had originally booked in for two nights but while we were there we decided to stay an extra night. Upon arrival we were given a warm welcome and were made to feel at home. Our room was... More

My fiance was taking me away for a surprise weekend for my birthday, but I didn't know where I was going and I arrived at the little gem of a guest house where I have never been made to feel so welcome before. Jaap and Ghislaine treat you as though you are staying at their home. We stayed in a... More

My husband and I decided to add an overnight stay in Bewtsy-y-Coed at the last minute to celebrate our fortieth wedding anniversary. It turned out to be one of the best parts of our trip. The Park Hill Guest House was lovely. We were treated like royalty by Jaap and Ghislaine who attended to our every need. When we found... More

This is by a country mile the best place to stay when winter climbing in Snowdonia. It is warm and comfortable, the hosts are charming and friendly and it is easy to drive to in the snow as it's close to one of the regularly salted roads. The best thing though is the sauna. Without a doubt a hour in... More

We booked this B&B from the internet, and what a brilliant find, our hosts Jaap & Ghislaine were more than accomodating, with helpful tips, on places to visit and where the best food can be found. We found the rooms were clean and very comfortable, breakfast was very filling with plenty to choose from, the pool was always warm, and... More
