Polite and friendly staff, parking was fine until mid evening which is a bit of a pain if you do pop out in the evening. Once most of the diners have left later at night we were able to move car. Room 9B was beautiful, four poster, spa bath and balcony worth paying the extra for. Meal in the restaurant...

Just got back from spending 5 nights in this hotel. We took the dogs so were accommodated in the little cottage adjacent to the hotel itself. It was lovely and private with great views from each window. The hotel restaurant was amazing. Huge choice of dishes (even for us veggies) really professionally developed and presented. Really friendly service as this...

We dedided to book with the ty gwyn because it looked really cosy and just what we liked in a place and we weren't dissapointed we weren't family members or regulars but we were treated like family I cannot understand why anyone can give this place a bad review.the room we had was small but made up with the amount...

A very quaint and well located hotel. The bedroom we had was a bit dated and some of he furniture creaky, but this added to the overall charm. Staff were good, very friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. We had two really good evening meals and the ambience was lovely with no staff chasing you...

I stayed here for business this week, and didn't want to stay in a "chain" hotel. My first impressions were that it was a little "busy" in terms of horse brasses etc, however, the room, 9a, was lovely, in the attic, with a lovely shabby chic four poster which was very comfortable. The room was very quaint, but had everything...

Went for a meal at hotel on Friday 27th April 2012. What a lovely, charming and quirky hotel. The Manager went out of his way to accommodate us. A party of 10 but the person taking the booking thought we said 2!!!! This aside the Manager opened up another room for us. The meal was absolutely excellent (one of the...

Had a few days here in April 2012, the weather was pretty awful but the area is so pretty and this place is superb. We stayed in room 9a which is at the top of the building and faces the rear, away from the road. The Inn is situated on the A5 main road and road noise can be a...

Quaint old coaching inn, very convenient for Snowdonia and the village itself. The food is absolutely excellent, we ate there every night. Perhaps a little on the pricey side for what one gets roomwise, but I suppose the price reflects the demand and ambience.
Excellent walks without using the car!! (the car parking is not brilliant!!)

Excellent food served by friendly staff, rooms recently decorated, ours was very clean,no complaints, only comment it is on a fairly busy roadside but that's where they built coaching inns. We will be happy to return.
