We booked the twin room which was small but perfect for a budget b and b . there was plenty of tea and coffee facilities in the room and it was very clean :) the breakfast however was really really good :)) big portions and as much coffee and tea as you liked . the owner was really friendly and... We stayed here for 1 night in July. We booked very last minute (20 minutes before arrival) so it was a case of where there was availability. The location was fantastic, just 2 minutes walk from the town and with off street parking. The price was good for Betws too, cheaper than the majority of places near the town. The... More

Me and my wife booked three nights at this B and B from there web site. It looked fantastic but when we arrived we realised the pictures were very misleading. Steep stairs led to our twin room which was so small you could not swing a cat in it. We were not even asked if the room was OK only... More

I stayed for 1 night with my mother, but we had booked 2. The B & B is in a great location for the village, just 5 minutes walk to lots of shops & cafes/restaurants. It also has off-street parking. Our room was tiny & we barely had room to move around our beds, the ensuite was also too small... More

If you are looking for good value for money, then this is the B & B for you. Very warm welcome that continued throughout our 3 night stay. The breakfast was fantastic and kept us going all day!! The rooms and en-suites are small, but they are clean. Whilst we were in the area, we checked out prices of other... More

A late review I know, but felt I had to stick up for this place after some dodgy reviews! Put it simply, you wont get as good a B&B at this price in this location anywhere else in Betws. A couple of minutes walk to the main restaurants and shops, great breakfast, great service and all for a very low... More

We booked our travel with the owner by phone (from the US) and described our needs: a family room for my husband and me, and our two daughters, aged 18 and 20. We were quoted a good price, lower than other B&Bs. When we arrived, the owner was a little flustered, but it didn't stand out at the time. At... More

I don't believe that last review was very fair. It sounds like they were expecting a 4 star experience for a 1 star price. Gwynant was by far the least expensive place we found in Betws. If you want luxury pay 2 or 3 times as much and find somewhere else. However, if you want a comfortable, welcoming, and pleasant... More

We booked this B&B last minute but used the comments from Tripadvisor as a guide. After coming back and reading the previous reviews again we are wondering if there are two different Gwynant guest houses in Betws-y-Coed. Our experience was quite different from the other reviewers'. We were met by a lacklustre teenager who seemed to be in charge of... More
