We stayed in the hotel as a group of four couples on a weekend away and overall the experience was very enjoyable, with the hotel proving a good choice. It is a very old building, located adjacent to the castle and just a few minutes walk to the town centre – farmers’ market worth a visit – and just beyond... More

We stayed in the apartment stable block bit not main hotel. A space which was a bit overpriced for what it offered to be honest. A good base for a family going out to explore the Beacons perhaps but I think one could do better because this diluted rather added to the experience.

Stayed for three nights, staff friendly, welcoming and helpful. Location meant only a short walk to the town centre. Food was fantastic, with an extensive menu, the service matched it. The room was great, spacious with everything you needed, would recommend to anyone.
