this is a very good and quiet place, it is 20 min walk from the centre , through a beautiful park very clean rooms, good food, nice peaple and good price More

We booked late so we didnt expect anything too special, but we found Acorn Lodge particually comfortable, easy going and friendly. The continental breakfast in the morning was very filling and we would certainly stay again. More

I wouldn't recommend stay here as Cardiff has many place to stay. Room was clean except carpet and found little dead spider on the bed.. stayed here for the football international - very welcoming. The place is a brisk 30 minute walk from the train station - 25 mins from the centre of town. We stayed at the Acorn Lodge in early June 2006. It’s located about 2-3km from the centre of Cardiff. Generally speaking the place is a bit run down – our room was tidy but tired.
