Very Pleasant Two Night stay,food was excellent great breakfast and evening meal could not fault this hotel, the staff were very helpful and exceptionally friendly, nice big room with great view of the Mourns. Will be back.

Arrived via Groupon and weren't really sure what to expect. What we didn't expect was a warm welcome, a really comfortable bed, traditional Ulster Breakfasts and a dinner which was not only more plentiful than we could eat but also really nice. So we were surprised that's what we received. Exceptional value. We would definitely return.

Yes, there are probably better hotels but this is certainly ideal for golfers and people on a short break. The staff were extremely friendly to our group (around 16) and the staff also were helpful in recommending places for us. You can also honestly walk to RCD if you are playing here. The bar was also well worth a visit.

Went down to the Donard Newcastle for the weekend. Staff were excellent, decor a bit out dated, very clean. Bar and resturant were closed - out of season, what a pity. Yes we would go back, Breakfast excellent could not be more helpful!!
