Saddlers House is a cute B&B located just a few minutes walk from central Derry. We were welcomed by Joan and Peter's daughter who gave us a map and great local recommendations on what to see and where to eat. Our room was a bit cold and the bathroom was teeny tiny. Free wifi and plenty of street parking available.... More

Joan & Peter welcomed us to Saddlers and gave us useful information about practical aspects such as how to use the showers as well as city tours and restaurants. Saddlers is situated close to the central part of Derry for easy walks to the city. The rooms were cosy and the breakfasts were delicious. Meeting Bertie the Bulldog was a... More

Saddler's House made us feel very welcome when our original b and b booking did not work out. It is in the centre of Derry city. It's so cosy that it doesn't actually feel like you're in the city at all, but it's only a 5 minute walk to the walls. The free street parking worked out quite well for... More

Apart from being in an excellent location for seeing the city of Derry B&B was okay. We didn't like the way the bulldog was able to walk around the kitchen or dining room - especially when 3 out of the 4 of us don't like dogs! More

The couple who owned the house were very hospitable and knowledgeable. We loved our room and felt very welcome while staying there. It was very clean, and the food was good. More

The location was perfect. I thought the room was quite small and the bathroom had no space to even put your toothbrush. More

The room is very nice and most of all the bathroom, you fell like in a old tale, is very beautiful. Breakfast is very good and rich. You have internet and a sitting room with interesting books. You can really relax which is what we were looking for. We found this place thanks to a gentleman at the tourist information... More

Myself and my husband stayed in Derry for one night, it is a great city. The Saddlers B&B was nice, full of character, great hospitality and a great breakfast. We had a really nice big room with a tiny bathroom! However just to note that if you are a person who does not like dogs then maybe avoid it as... More

Saddler House was so spacious and well appointed that we almost wanted to stay indoors, but the charm of Derry's old town was too strong a pull. Derry is full of history, tragedy and hopes for peace, and it's most definitely worth a lingering visit. You cannot find a nicer place to be your home away from home, than Saddlers... More

Friends told us to avoid being in Derry for the 12th of July due to the possibility of "troubles" on that day. We took their advice to heart and only allowed one night in Derry. That seemed a shame at the time and in introspect. Yes there were isolated incidents in the city, but none near where we stayed. We woud... More
