Had no choice of alternatives as this was a last minute business trip. Found the hotel to be really run down, it had dirty public areas with filthy carpets, tired decoration, noisy bar area that resonated into my room and found average and pricey food. We use this hotel regularly for going out for meals as we live in Cove Bay. The food is always good and the service is also good. Nice views of the sea when its a nice clear day. Id definitely recommend this place.

Went to the Cove Bay Hotel for Sunday lunch and was bitterly dissapointed. Took the Sunday roast (lamb), 3 slices of lamb smothered in a gloopy pepper sauce, 3 boiled potatoes,some severely boiled veg and a very disappointing Yorkshire pudding. Very overpriced at £13,50. Saving grace for this hotel was the staff.
