Reasonable hotel, rooms seem to be getting upgraded hence the smell of paint. Food okay couldn't find fault. Overall a pleasant enough stay. More

If you excuse the dated architectural style (fairly prevalent in Banff) you will find a clean, recently refurbished and friendly hotel in an excellent sea facing location. Reception and all staff are welcoming, friendly and efficient and nothing is too much trouble. Our room was superb, part of the recent refurbishment. Excellent restaurant serving fresh organic products. Highly recommended! More

Stay resonably local to hotel so decided to go for family lunch. I ordered Chicken fillets and husband ordered Beef Burger, asking for cheese on top. Meals came, mine with 4 chicken fillets and small pile of chips, husbands with plain burger (resembeled something from McDonalds) no cheese, and handfull of chips.
