Well worth the trip, and not too far on the Corran ferry. Lovely haggis for tea and the strawberry ice cream thing with shortbread is yum. 'Interesting' crowd in the bar downstairs - quite entertaining! Needless to say that the area is beautiful, especially the beaches out the Ardnamurchan peninsula.

A hotel which clealry doesn't like offering food. Some bar staff are freindly, some are surly and see customers as a hinderance. I really wouldn't recommend it as a place to stay. Children not welcome and a grumpy landlady. Why are they in the hospitality business???

The real issue here is separating the hotel from its location-5 stars for location, 1 star at best for the hotel! Location for hill walking and climbing is perfect, variety and abundance for all levels.
