Exellent Guest House, the rooms are comfortable, spotlessly clean & well appointed. Breakfast freshly cooked to order, nothing was too much trouble for Catherine who was looking after us & was also a font of local knowledge. More

I agree with another reviewer that this property should be 4*. I stayed here recently for 3 nights and I was warmly welcomed by Linda. The room was beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean and a very comfortable bed with good quality linen. Breakfast was excellent and always freshly cooked and hot. Linda was very helpful with advice about the local area.... More

its listed as only a 3* b&b but in my opinion its actually a very good 4*, apparently its only listed as a 3* because of room size, but i stayed for a number of weeks while on business and was a in a number of the rooms and they are all of a perfectly adequate size, so this seems... More

The accommodation at Aberlaw Guest House was very clean and comfortable; breakfast was always generous and piping hot. Linda the proprietress couldn't have been more helpful and was always warm and friendly. If I visit Dundee again, I will certainly try the Aberlaw first. More

I recently spent four nights at the Aberlaw. I was made to feel very welcome from the moment I walked in the door. Though I had booked a single room I was offered the family room as this was available. And what a marvellous room it was! Super- comfortable bed with quality bedding, beautifully furnished, with a lovely sitting area,... More

Aberlaw Guesthouse en-suite rooms were tastefully decorated, clean and very comfortable. We stayed only a night on our stopover from Inverness to Edinburgh. There is no reason to doubt the Aberlaw room and service quality. Linda is a warm and great host which made our stay more at home. Thank you so much for the great Scottish hospitality. More

I was a young woman travelling alone and never have I felt more safe and welcome. I was advised on the best ways to travel to and from the city centre and other surrounding areas which was extremely useful as I had never visited the area before and my map reading skills are more than a little dubious! The bedroom... More

Quite near the city centre and not difficult to find. Rooms are very clean and furnished with style. Excellent and plentiful breakfast. It is possible to park behind the house. Linda was very very helpful and courteous, she explained us where we could go to have dinner and what we could visit. Marco & Claudia from Italy More

We came up at short notice and were very grateful to find a room near to Carnoustie. On arrival it was wet outside and the owner asked us to cover our shoes- a good sign that the house was to be clean. In fact, the rooms were spotless and the beds very comfortable. Linda was exceptionally chatty and always available... More
