My wife and I stayed here during our honeymoon in August of 2012. We really loved it. It is located on the outskirts of Edinburgh a little ways down the street from the zoo. This was nice because we stayed during the festival and the location allowed us to enjoy the fun while being able to escape all the hub... More

We have just returned from a few days of sightseeing in Edinburgh and it was our first stay at the Quaich Guest house, although most of the other guests were repeat visitors. We stayed in a lovely double room (the twin that is pictured that had been made into a double) which was huge and had its own bathroom. It... More

Had a lovely two night stay and would def recommend... Feels more like a hotel than a b&b but staff warm, welcoming and friendly... Great parking facilities and bus stops near by with regular buses into town... Service disrupted by road works though which made b&b feel further from town than it is- we walked back both nights and walk... More

Lovely place to stay: very friendly, comfortable room (I stayed in the single with shared bathroom), tasty breakfast, frequent buses into the centre from right outside. I was there for the Fringe and it was a great base for that, and also for exploring Edinburgh.

Knowing we were going to be flying from Edinburgh we thought it would be nice to stay at this Guest House. I booked it before we went and got a great deal for B&B, having a car we decided to stay at a place near a bus route to get to Princess Street and our car was safe in their... More

Despite being located on a very busy road into town, no road noise got to the room. Very clean, bed comfortable, bathroom was modern and very clean. Tea/coffee making facalities in room. Breakfast was slighty let down by cheap quality sausages. Overall very good- would def use again!

This B&B is in a historic area of Edinburgh with some interesting local sites to explore. The area is quiet and lovely, very near to the Zoo. Bus service right outside to take you into the city. The rooms were very comfortable and well presented - all of us including a child enjoyed our stay. The hostess was warm and... More

I stayed at Quaich for a few days in February and I really wanted to stay on. It's not right in the middle of Edinburgh but that turned out to be a good thing -- it's a short bus ride aways and you really get a good sense of the city. The bathroom was brand new en-suite and the view... More

Stayed for one night in the single room. Clean room and welcoming atmosphere. Easy to get to the city by bus. Frequent buses on the road in the front.
