Stayed here for two nights in April 2012. I picked this hotel as I was doing a nearby Half Marathon. The location was perfect, the price was cheap, but the hotel is really showing its age. We stay in a lot of travelodges courtesy of their 6am sales so this was our 2nd visit in 3 years to this hotel and both times we've paid less than £20 per night. Asked for room at back after reading reviews. Staff friendly and helpful enough. Overall, hotel pretty tired and needing a makeover. Carpets in lift and entrance from rear car park ,pretty shabby. This place is ok to stay if you get a good deal. If not, shop around for somewhere better. More
