The B&B is in 2 separate buildings next to each other. The B&B is easy to find. You can take the bus or walk (about a 15-20 minute walk from the Tourist Information located next to Waverly Train Station). The staff is friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is wonderful with lots of choices (oatmeal, eggs, sausage, yogurt, cheese, fruits, cereal, toasts)... More

The guesthouse is divided over 2 houses. In one the breakfast is served you you might have to make a very short walk. Rooms are very high and look a bit old fashioned glamorous. But the are clean only we had a really small bathroom. There is television on the rooms but also in the special living room. You can... More

I was here for 2 nights and the place was just fantastic. The staff were very friendly and upgraded my room free of charge. The room was massive, clean and had everything i needed and wanted. I got great sleep as it was very peaceful. Breakfast was also very nice. The locaton was good, only about 10-15 mins from the... More

The guesthouse has one of the best English breakfasts we ever had during our UK trip. Good breakfast kick start a good day! :) Our room is situated on the second floor, first room facing the back garden. Very quiet. Nice & big room for both my wife and me thou' the bathroom is a bit small, but we are... More

Tucked away in the New Town of Edinburgh (for those people who don't know the city, the 'New Town' is nearly 300 years old!) is the Ardenlee. I spent four nights there in October 2011, in the attic room (the one sticking out at the top on the photo!). It's a small, perfectly formed, single room - although it's up... More

Kay and Kenny are gracious and welcoming but low key hosts. It felt like we were staying with family. The ceilings are high, our room was spacious, and though the bathroom was small it was perfectly adequate. It is at the bottom of a long hill that leads up to the train station and central city, but there is a... More

I have to admit: this review is biased. I had booked a single with shared facilites. A couple of days before arrival I had hurt my back real bad, which I mentioned upon arrival. Without a blink the proprietor immediately suggested that I take the apartment. It felt like being home. If you're with a family, its a great place... More

Just got back from a short stay in Edinburgh for the Great Edinburgh run (very hilly!) Had a lovely stay in the B and B and would definately recommend it. The breakfast was amazing with lots of choice and help yourself to juice and cereals. It is about a 10 min walk from the centre but it is up quite... More

We were visiting Edinburgh during the Fringe Festival, which is always manic, but we were made welcome by all the staff, particularly the manager and his wife, who always had a friendly word at breakfast and suggested various extra shows to visit - even though we were pretty Fringe-out by the end of our stay. Nothing was too much trouble.... More
