It was a pleasure to stay at 24 Inverleith Place during our short time in Edinburgh! We enjoyed Caroline's gracious hospitality, the lovely room, the delicious breakfasts, and her guidance on getting around Edinburgh. We especially appreciate that she took care to meet my husband's gluten-free dietary needs.

The hosts were very welcoming. We stayed in the double room with separate bathroom. Both rooms were well appointed and very comfortable. Breakfast was very good with different choices each morning .- I particularly enjoyed the muffin with smoked salmon, poached egg and hollandaise sauce.

We travelled in Ireland & Scotland for 20 days, staying at B&Bs most everyday. On this trip, we stayed 2 nights at 24 Inveleith Place and found it to be excellent, one of our best stops. It was one of the few B&Bs where the owners took some interest in the travellers and spent some time socializing with their guest.... More

Caroline made such a great breakfast (we only stayed one night). It was such a bargain compared to the other prices closer to the city. Before we came, she was helpful and told us about the bus system there that took us into the city. She even told us where to go for dinner. Out of all the places we... More

We had a wonderful 4 days in Edinburgh, staying 3 nights at Inverleith Place. Caroline and her husband couldn't have made us feel more welcome. The first evening we arrived to find a lovely welcome with drinks and nibbles in the sumptuous guest living room. The set up is ideal for two couples (as we were), with the two bedrooms... More

We spent four nights at 24 Inveleith Place B&B and were very happy with our choice. Caroline is a passionate host - caring, attentive and discreet. We felt at home from the very beginning. We enjoyed the comfortable bed, the bathroom with its grand shower and the cosy sitting room, tastefully decorated like the whole of the house. The rooms... More

I agree with the other five star reviews; we were made to feel very welcome and our stay was comfortable and peaceful. Breakfast was delicious and portions were generous. The bed was super comfortable, as was the room in general. The bathroom was spotless and furnished to a very high standard. Caroline was really helpful helping us get travel into... More

Roddy and Caroline treated the four of us A1 and made us feel special. Their breakfasts were absolutely above and beyond and went back from dinner one of the nights to a cake and tea for my birthday. Their accommodations were second to none. Clean and comfortable and host and hostess very hospitable.

I had a very enjoyable stay at Roddy and Caroline's beautiful home. The bedroom and bathroom were absolutely spotless, the bed was extremely comfortable, the furniture was complimented by top quality antiques and the shower was terrific. The entire house had just been refurbished to an extremely high standard, to a traditional and complimentary style, it was a pleasure to... More

My daughter and I were doing the moon walk at nearby Inverleith park so booked here to crash afterwards! Absolutely stunning, love their house. Breakfast was fab really revived us after our tiring walk. Because of our late hour coming in Caroline kindly offered to do breakfast at 10.30 so that we had a lie-in. Will definetly be back next...
