Stayed in Edinburgh at the Airlie for a week in February, my husband was over in Scotland on business. We had lovely accommodation here, The Flynns are great hosts and couldn't give our family enough help and attention. We had a large family room with a shower and toilet and wash basin inside the room. Fiona offered books and toys... More

Not a traditional B&B, more of a hotel. The room we had was comfortable, clean and quiet. The breakfast was ok. Bus stop right across the street, so it's very easy to get to the city center if you don't feel like walking.

Stayed in Airlie last weekend. Very happy with the place. Both Peter & Fiona were very nice. Fiona was very helpful & was kind enough to let us check out a bit later as our flight was in the afternoon & the weather wasn't great! Really nice house, plenty of info leatlets about edinburgh, trains & resturantes etc. Breakfast was... More

Stayed her for 2 nights in July. It was our 2nd visit to a b&B in Edinburgh his year. The owners were friendly and the breakfast was lovely. We have only given an average rating as the room we stayed in was very musty and damp smelling even with the small amount of air from the window. The room was... More

Hotel about a mile away from the main centre, but easily walked. A regular bus runs from just opposite the Hotel if you don't fancy the walk. Room was large and comfy, we had a small en-suit.The staff couldn't help enough. Breakfast was very filling with plenty of it. Hotel was spotlessly clean.

Each year I bring students to Edinburgh and we are all treated like members of the family. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfasts are to die for. It is perfectly located for easy walking or using the transit system. Peter and Fiona do all within their power to make your stay a pleasant one and one that you will... More

We stayed at The Airlie for my birthday during a trip to see the Tattoo. On arrival we were greeted warmly and shown around and our room before payment was made. I am always sceptical about making a payment up front before even seeing the room so was pleased that it was insisted that we checked the room first before... More

I went to Edinburgh for the Hogmanay Festival and got a last minute (10 days before) booking for 30th,31st Dec and 1st Jan here. (Lucky me! Considering the city was under siege by party people from all over the world!!) The lady that I spoke to over the phone (I think she was one of the owners), was very very... More

My boyfriend and I came up last weekend and chose the Airlie Guest House to stay in from their lovely website. The room we stayed in was big and very comfortable and in great condition. The service from the staff was suberb and breakfast was lovely both mornings. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful and obviously run their business... More

It was more a little hotel than a B&B, so it was not so friendly as B&Bs. Our room was nice but we found some dead bugs in bathroom lamp and on the floor (it never hapenned to us before in all other B&Bs we have stayed in Ireland, Wales and in Scotland). The room is big. The breakfast was... More
