“The perfect B & B”

If there is such a thing as a perfect B & B this is it! Spotlessly clean, warm welcome, comfy bed and Mavis's home made cakes. Plenty of reading material in the room, clean bathrobe, towels and toiletries. I couldn't have asked for anything more! “Nothing is too much trouble for Mavis & Ian”

We stayed here two nights at the end of our Scotland trip. Although it's outside the city, there is a frequent bus into the centre of Edinburgh and it is close to the airport. Our double room had very modern ensuite facilities with flannels (luxury in a B&B). Pity we couldn't manage Mavis's home-baked buns! Mavis & Ian helped us... More
