Firstly I can't imagine where the person who left the first review of this place stayed, because it certainly wasnt the same guest house that I visited! Bells Guest House is wonderful, warm and friendly, with great rooms and delicious food. We stayed there for 2 nights, and wished we could've stayed longer. The landlady gave us a very warm... More

The good: relatively low price, comfortable bed. The bad: a) tiny bathroom with no room to turn around, b) the place smelled of cat urine, c) poor location, recquiring a 20-minute bus ride into downtown Edinburgh, contrary to the "near town'" suggestion on the Web site, d) when we informed the owner that we only had face towels and not...
