For myself, a Guest House on the bus route to the Airport is very necessary: and taxis being a bit of a luxury on a tight budget so it's good that there are so many of them, on the way to an early flight. This being Scotland, it's useful to have your umbrella at hand for those earlier showers. It's... More

Several members of my family booked in for a long weekend. It was ideal, Linda and Dave are great hosts, cooking breakfast just the way we asked for it. As is typical with families, we all wanted something different but it was smilingly presented. This is a roomy house with each room having its own character. We were able to... More

I've stayed here on many occasions when business takes me to Edinburgh - in fact, i wouldn't choose anywhere else. Clean, bright, lovely breakfast (lots of choice), LInda and Dave couldn't do better - so welcoming and helpful. No broadband when I was there - but free access in a mally hotel along the road - but I enjoyed the... More

I tried to find my place somewhere comfortably close to the centre of Edinburgh and was surprised by the place I have found. I have stayed before in the Holiday Inn nearby but the personal approach and homely atmosphere makes me to prefer this B&B for my future visits to Edinburgh. Whole place was well kept, clean and my room... More

This was a lovely B&B and I thoroughly enjoyed staying here. After a series of hotel stays it was a real joy to stay in this haven. The single room at the back was cozy, beautifully presented and really comfortable. Dave and Linda are delightful, welcoming hosts who rustle up a superb breakfast with plenty to choose from. You really... More

Stayed with Dave & Linda for 3 nights over New Years to celebrate Hogmanay at Edinburgh's famous street party. We were charged a premium price for the triple room with a private bathroom which was to be expected at a busy time like this. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, and was serviced everyday. The room was a bit... More

Glenlivet is quite well located for getting in to Edinburgh. The bus stop is very close and it takes about 20-25 mins to get to the city. The hosts were welcoming and informative. We found the room a little small, hard to find room for luggage. Nice breakfast provided. More

I find this the cleanest, most welcoming and friendly B&B I have visited and travel regularly - all over Scotland with my work. The breakfast served here is unsurpassed ( the selection of fresh fruit and the coffee are fantastic) - and I completely agree with the previous review that this must be one of Edinburgh's best kept secrets! Linda... More
