Visited Mortonhall for the third time at the week-end . We really like most things about the site but feel that £3.50 per night for our wee doggie is pretty mean on your part. Especially when you do not give a discount for pensioners. As sites in Scotland go though, yours is up there with the best and we have... More

I spent one night in my tent at Mortonhall Camping Park during my Scotland-Trip last June. It's a nice place and the staff is really friendly and helpful! The sanitary facilities are exceptionally clean. There's also a small shop and a pub. The location is good, about 15 minutes to Edinburgh by bus (the bus stop is right at the... More

We have had very little experience at caravaning but had a motorhome to travel around the UK. Mortonhall was excellent with great facilities - clean bathrooms with hot water. The bar and restaurant were great. Staff could not have been more and sorted out the WIFI problems quickly - bus right at front to tsake you in to Edinburgh.

Stayed there when renting a motorhome for the first time, it was a good introduction. Field was very soggy due to the heavy rain, couldn't get up to it, but site manager gave us a new, easier one. Bathrooms and showers were clean and warm. Nice large location, close to city center. Good walks from the site.

We've stayed here in the static caravans before - this trip we were in a large camper-van. Nice big site, right on the edge of the city centre. No dividers between pitches which is a shame, but overall feel of site is very green and open. Main toilet blocks have just been refurbished, very clean, very hot water, nice and... More

My wife and I have just returned from a two night stay in one of the wigwams at Morton hall. We arrived earlier than planned, 12.30, with the intention of parking up and going into town prior to check-in @ 16.00, we were happy to be told the wigwam was ready an could check in. The woman on reception was... More

We have stayed here 3 times since October 2012 and its great. We have a motorhome and use this to visit our daughter at Edinburgh University. There is a bus stop right outside which stops at Princes Street. We dont use our own shower as the showerblocks are so good. The bar has lots of atmosphere and a lovely fire... More

Our first four nights in a rented motor home were spent at Morton Hall. The sites (pitches) are well spaced out and conveniences modern and clean. The Stable Bar restaurant was great too. A bus to Edinburgh is near the entrance to the park.

Hello We arrived just after tea on friday eve. The details for our wigwam were pinned up outside the office with a map. No problems finding it and was really pleased with what we had. I was slightly surprised to find more wigwams than there appears on google maps. I think we had one of the newer ones. The wigwam... More
