We needed pet-free accommodation over the Xmas period for our daughter and her family. They cannot stay in our house because one of the children is severely asthmatic and is allergic to our dogs.The Balmashie people could not of been more helpful in arranging for a suitable cottage and about returning a charger that had been left behind.

We have been a few times before and are concerned about basic house keeping and standards; we have children and notice that everything is becoming very tired, please don't let your standards slip any further. The location is ideal, but when you are paying over £900 for a week you expect a certain level.

Balmashie was a great find for our cycling weekend.We based ourselves there and did a number of local routes.
