Stayed here for 3 nights during the week for business purposes. The Inn is a characterful listed building in a very central location. Unfortunately the age of the place also works against it - there are no lifts, so i had to drag a large suitcase up to the 4th floor, the windows in my room wouldnt shut properly, so... More

We were booked into this hotel by the organiser of our very large party group. We were in the basement room. I have read all of the most recent reviews and tend to agree with them. We did not suffer much from the noise, but the experience was not pleasant for the following reasons. Heater was broke, no one on... More

Travelling as a group for the Old Firm game, the hotel left a very favourable impression on all of us but as indicated in a number of other reviews, the jewel in the crown was definately the breakfast (and the breakfast cook, who was a bit of a character). Rooms couldn't be described as luxurious but they were clean and... More

Stayed at this hotel for one night and after reading reviews was a little concerned after i booked through Groupon. I telephoned two days before i arrived and asked if i could get a room on the first floor as i have back problems and the receptionist was extremely helpful. Our room was basic but clean as was the bathroom.... More

My first night stay was the worst night sleep ever, my room on the 4th floor overlooked the polo lounge so very loud music and people shouting kept me awake, I did mention this in the morning and I made alternative arrangements for my 2nd night to stay elsewhere. I was told by a friendly man I'd get a discount.... More

I stayed in a single room - £35 which was pretty good value. Good location - walking distance from train station. Good sized room for a single. However the room was very noisy at night and the shower made a loud screeching noise when used. Breakfast was not great - most of the food was cold or lukewarm. More

After arriving at the hotel on Saturday afternoon, we checked in and the girl behind the desk told us we were in the apex outside the hotel. We walked out to find what looked like a fire escape littered with cigarette ends and trundled up the stairs with 3 heavy suitcases. After finding our room we went into the bathroom... More
