We found a very friendly and accommodating staff and a great breakfast (plenty of calories). We were traveling with friends and they liked their stay too. Being close to the Kelvingrove Museum was a big plus as it is just a 15 minute walk. We would definitely stay again.

We located the Ashton Glasgow on Tripadvisor and so glad we did. Clean, comfortable and so pretty. Breakfast was great. It included cereals, yogurts, fresh fruit, hot croisants, jams, toast, juice, coffee and tea! The hosts Marion & Frank are super sweet people. The location cannot be beat. Around the block is a little cobblestone street called Ashton Lane which... More

Stayed at Ashton House for one night while we left our daughter to university. It is very conveniently located near to the university area and is right in the heart of the bustling west end. We received a very warm welcome from our host who was able to advice us about local shops and restaurants. The room was spotlessly clean... More

At the time of writing this B&B was rated 10th in Glasgow, which is either an injustice or Glasgow must be the B&B capital of the world! Ashton Glasgow was quiet, roomy, immaculate and great value. Hosting was extremely friendly and breakfast was excellent. The location can't be beaten, in the pretty west end of the city with a variety... More

Would support the views of other reviewers and thoroughly recommend. We booked the Ashton at short notice and were very pleased. The room we stayed in was a good size, and comfortable. Shared bathroom, but that didn't present a problem as there was only one person in the other room. Big selling point is location - right in the heart... More

I spent 1 night at ashton glasgow. On arrival I was met my Marion who was friendly and welcoming. I was shown to my room a double at the back of the house. The room was spotless well decorated, a comfortable bed with good bedding which made for a good nights sleep. The room looked onto ashton lane which was... More

Had an enjoyable one night stay at the Ashton Glasgow with my family of 5. The hosts were very authentic, helpful and accomodating. There advice and warmth and kindness was much appreciated. Rooms were clean and cute but were relatively small, as you would expect in a big city. If you are looking for a warm and comfortable place to... More

I've been tempted not to write a review of Ashton because they only have two rooms and I want one to be always available when I go to Glasgow. It's a great Victorian house, off University Avenue and just round the corner from Ashton Lane. If you want to be in the West End, it's hard to think of a... More
