Stopped here on weekend of stone roses gig, and was passionatlly renamed by us "euro borstel" staff were polite and helpful but the room was only just bare able. Quilts were minging, pillows were useless and mattress was so springy it was unreal so much so that 2 days after leaving my little toe still aches from rolling over through... More

I normally don't comment on these pages but do value the input of contributions and felt that I had to make a comment for this particular hotel I stayed for 1 night and booked the Euro Hostel purely on the price factor alone. The booking process was easy and for the sake of £3 decided to upgrade my single room... More

Have stayed in Glasgow a few times but always"upmarket" as my girlfriend likes that kind of thing. However, after she spent a girly weekend in the Eurohostel we decided to stay there. The rooms were clean and tidy and had a good shower. We also experienced a wet floor but when I asked for a mop a staff member insisted on... More

I stayed in this hostel on 8th of February 2013. When I booked it over the phone I was asked my bank card details so that they can take the room rent. On the 8th when I reached the hostel, I was told that they had not taken the money yet & I had the choice to pay in cash... More

As two young adults, we were pleasantly surprised by the youth-friendliness of the place. They didn't care how drunk you were, how late in you were. Which was good for us of course but I imagine slightly annoying for maybe slightly older people who just need a bed. However, the place was big enough that noise didn't really carry. I... More

This was my 5th visit to the Euro Hostel in Glasgow, and it was the first time I did not enjoy my 5 days at the hostel, main reason I booked on line and booked a room with a TV, and as a wheelchair user I informed them I would like a plastic chair put in the shower, got to... More

When we got to the hostel the lady in the reception was playing or texting or whatever on her mobile and didn't ever dare to look at us and ask us to wait... We stood there staring at her until she was done...The hygiene was terrible! We got an en suite room for 3 and it it was filthy! I... More

Hi Beth L, thanks for taking the time to review us after you recent stay. I have to agree with some of the other reviewers when they say that this place isn't for the backpacking hostel-goer. If you're more about staying in hostels to mingle with other travelers, this place isn't for you. It is more like a hotel. But that being said, it was a great place to stay: convenient location. realistic price, free... More

A very cheap, convenient and affordable hostel for all those travelers on a short budget, do not expect a 5 star but in my opinion it's not even that bad. First of all the location is great, right in the center just a short walk from Argyle Street and across the river. A huge hostel, so as to have many... More
