I recently stayed in one of these apartment as part of a hen weekend in Glasgow. Apartments were clean and tidy, pleasantly decorated and had everything we needed. Unfortunately the en-suite shower did not work, but this is my only complaint. I would definitely use them again, suitable, secure and quiet enough for a sole occupant, and spacious enough for... I stayed in a one bedroom flat on the second floor in late December 2006 for about a week. PROS: ***The flat looks just like the pictures: nice leather sofa (comfortable enough to sleep on), pretty glass dining table with leather cushioned chairs, nice soft bed, a kitchen with everything you need (I had two people staying there, and all... Stayed here last year and was really pleased, but this trip was very disappointing. Booked a 2 bedroom apartment but only allowed one key as hotel policy - the non-smoking apartment smelt strongly of smoke, and we then found a stubbed out cigarette end in one of the drawers! The general standard of equipment and cleanliness was well below par.... More

This was my second trip up to Glasgow recently and on my first occassion I stayed at the City Hotel and was encouraged to try the apartments the next time I was up Visting friends and so I did. Having been to Glasgow last year and loving every second, we decided to go there again for our xmas sales shopping. Booked in for 3 nights at the City Apartments being promised views across the city from our contempory apartment, satellite TV etc etc a home from home. Oh how wrong. Three friends and myself decided on a Christmas shopping weekend in Glasgow and I was put in charge of accommodation. As we were going for 2 nights I thought it would be really nice if we got a little funky 2 bed apartment so we could relax and so it wasn’t necessary to go out every time we wanted food... More

The City Apartments Glasgow, your own little contemporary styled, self-contained apartment in the heart of Glasgow. Sounds a great concept, but it’s such a shame it doesn’t translate in reality. We decided to stay there for a long weekend break. We arrived at the hotel down the road to check in and went off into the city for lunch whilst... More

Booked a two bedroom apartment for a couple of nights. Apartment ok, but could have done with a coat of paint and a more extensive clean - not dirty, just not as spotless as you'd expect for the premium price you're paying. Wardrobe doors hanging loose. Main problems were (a) the heat from the water/heating system making the apartment too... More

Stayed here for my boyfriend's birthday - a shopping, eating and drinking trip! Booked because it was cheaper than most of the hotel options, and it turned out to be a really good deal. We'd booked a 1-bed but were given a 2-bed apartment on arrival, right on the top floor. There was a big sitting / dining room and... More

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment as we were going to a concert at the SECC. The apartment had two good sized double bedrooms with a en-suite in the master. Both bedrooms had fitted mirrored wardrobes with lots of hanging space. There was a big dining/kitchen area which was perfect for us all to sit in. The kitchen had... More
