We stayed for nights in a chalet room behind the guesthouse. It was very spacious, warm, modern and clean with a double and single bed and large bathroom. There is a porch so good for equipment storage. Breakfast was man sized and delicious with a large choice on off. Our friends who came to see us for the day also... More

We happened into this guest house when the neighboring guesthouse had vacancies for "room only" no breakfast, the first place we tried was very rude about not having a twin room or space for us at breakfast, so we tried Ravenscraig right next door and were met with such a warm welcome it was lovely. We stayed in a chalet... More

A very warm welcome from the mother of the owner who was away. Beautifully furnished room (#5), with very nice soft furnishings etc and a comfy bed. Good ensuite shower room too. Breakfast was ample and excellent. Only a 5 minute walk from the High St too.

Our family stayed here just one night. We were shown wonderful hospitality. The rooms were clean and comfortable and modern. The complimentary breakfast was beautifully presented, classy and tasty. Kudos! Mary French, Canada Mary Fr

We've stayed a couple of times at Ravenscraig while visiting family who live in Aviemore and on both occasions we've received a very warm welcome from Jonathan. We've just returned from our second stay for two nights and enjoyed it as much, if not more, than our first! Our first stay was in one of the chalets at the back... More

If this place had a restaurant and bar, it would be a hotel charging twice as much. It's a traditional Scottish house, right on the main street, close to everything one needs. Parking was easy. The staff are fun, helpful and attentive. The downstairs lounge is cosy, with traditional furniture and decorations, and a big log fire. Our twin, ensuite... More

We stayed at the Ravenscraig for 2 nights in late March 2013. Our bedroom was warm, clean and comfortable. The guest house was peaceful and relaxing and very good value for money. The breakfasts include really good bacon, sausages and black pudding! Easy walking distance from the shops etc. We will definitely stay here again when in Aviemore.

We stayed here for 3 nights in March 2013. As it was my husband, daughter and myself were given a chalet just at the back if the main guest house which had a double and single bed. Immediately we entered the chalet it felt cosy and homely. Plenty of room for our 3 yr old to play in and we... More

This is a brilliant little B&B run by such lovely people. I'm looking forward to returning for the breakfasts and the great shower! - just what you need before and after skiing! Great location- within walking distance of loads of great pubs and restaurants in Aviemore. A very comfortable stay indeed.
