Lovely B&B beside the River Ness. At night I fell asleep to the sound of the water floating by - so calming and relaxing after a long day hiking in the Highlands! The hostess was incredibly friendly, welcoming and she instantly cooked whichever traditional Scottish breakfast I requested in the morning. She even fed me sweets every day... what a... More

really enjoyed my 4 night stay here at this gorgeous little cottage by the river. stayed in the twin room which was really spacious and also had a cupboard to store my luggages. the bathroom was also very spacious and clean. only issue was that there wasn't a shower head which made bathing rather difficult. however, everything else about this... Ideal base for a visit to Inverness and environs. Good accommodation, with comfortable bed in large room, plenty of storage restful sounds of the river. Shower room small but well equipped. An excellent Breakfast. Enjoyed the riverside walks into town.

My husband and I spent 3 nights here in June and we LOVED it! We had the upstairs room with a double (bed was more of a king size, however)! Room size comprible to American size hotels in California-big- As we experienced, most B&B are small and a littl worn down-not this one! There are 3 LARGE windows that overlook the... More

Only 4stars just because of the parking. We had a large rental car and had to back out onto the road. Breakfast was the best of all the B&B's we stayed in & hosts the friendliest. Our room was a bit dark and chilly at times, but there is a nice sun lounge and deck by the river.

Well I have only been here one night so far out of two but I feel this place is absolutely brilliant. The warmth of welcome is typical Scottish welcome (best in the world). The bed is perfect, nice and soft and warm. En-suite has everything you need even the little things you tend to forget. Breakfast is a pleasurable experience.... More

We stayed there on May 14th for two nights; even changing our holiday route to get the same room as last year. The hosts were again very hospitable and offered a welcome cup of tea on arrival. The room was clean and tidy with comfy beds and en-suite bathroom. Enough space to store your luggage and belongings. The breakfast was... More

We booked one night based on reviews we had read on Trip Advisor and other websites. Whilst the hosts were very welcoming and accommodating we did not think the accommodation warranted 4 stars. We were in the upstairs room which was up a steep narrow staircase.Whilst the room had a pretty view of the river, the room was OK but... More

We had a fantastic time while at Ghillies Lodge. It was a little unfortunate that there was construction right by the very tight driveway but overall highly recommended. Thank you!!
