I would return to Inverness only to stay at the Ivybank. Our room and bath were spacious, clean and charmingly decorated. The hostess was kind and refined. The breakfast abundant and delicious. We had trouble-free parking. A seriously cannot-go-wrong experience.

The stay here was the best ever, if this is your first visit to the country Inverness is a must, if you don't stay here you truly haven't experienced Scotland. This B&B is set in a beautiful house true to the photos on the website. The hosts are first-rate, welcoming and informative and really know how to provide a experience... More

A wonderful stay at this B&B. My boyfriend and I stayed here for three nights and loved it. We stayed in 5 B&Bs throughout our trip and this was our favorite at a wonderful price. The room was lovely with a great feel and had everything we needed. The B&B overall was very cozy and had some nice extra touches... More

What wonderful hosts we have found at Ivybank Guest House here in Inverness. The hosts invited us in for tea the evening we arrived and made us feel so welcomed to Inverness. Food is scrumptious and the bed is super comfortable. We had the tower room and it was just the right size for us. We will be back.

Real Scotish experiecne: old Scotish house with a few centuries history, very cosy with a fireplace, kind and welcoming hosts, who can help you with an advice for your travel. Location is good, but it doesn't really matter in Inverness as the city is quite small.

The breakfast was poor - cooked, but the ingredients looked and tasted very low quality. The 'welcome' seemed a little too aimed at extracting payment from the moment we arrived. However our room was fine and the location handy for the city centre.

We always enjoy B&Bs and Ivybank was no exception. a beautiful house, super hostess, great breakfast and good location all combine to make this place fantastic. Ivybank is well situated where we could walk downtown in just a few minutes. the interior of the house is beautiful with a gorgeous wood staircase. Our room was exceptionally large (not sure about... Took a trip with my wife and her parents to Inverness. We had a double room with a private bath and it was plenty big. The breakfast was delicious. I asked for 5 eggs and the host poked fun at me but cooked me some delicious eggs, along with bacon and the rest of the traditional scottish breakfast. It's just... More

Our room was large with a wonderful bathroom with a comfortable luxurious tub. Catherine made us a wonderful breakfast and was helpful in advising us on where to eat. The house has charm and is close to the centre of town and river.

My wife & I stayed 4 nights in lovely 1836 house. Very nice comfortable bedroom, shared very large bathroom with shower & bathtub. Had great breakfasts - eggs, toast, mushroom, tomatoes, back bacon, in a very nice eating room. Fiona really couldn't be nicer. Wish all places to stay were as nice as this one.
