We visited this guesthouse in September 2009 while we were on a trip for our Silver anniversary. The staff were very nice & the breakfast was okay. The room we stayed in was not at all nice . It showed signs of damp, did not smell nice & this odour lingered on our clothes until they were laundered. It was... More

I booked this BnB with a days notice for a single room as a stop over after some Munro bagging. I was in a nice, comfortable, en suite room with Tv, tea/coffe facilities, with a view over a neighbours garden. I wasn't troubled by the view as I'd overdosed on views all day! What I did like was the owners... More

This was a great place to end our walk along the WHW. The room was very comfortable and we were made very welcome. We had the use of a sitting room and bar for the evening and the use of the sitting room after we had checked out and waiting for out train the next day. We had a few... More

Jean and Jane were delighted with the hotel. The room had a fabulous view and a bath. Food was great and hosts very friendly. Close to town and start of the Great Glen Way which we started next day. Thanks More

Hotel conveniently located and with large comfy lounge with a nice little bar to get a drink from you return in the evening. Very friendly service - stored our bicycles overnight and we could leave our shoes under the boiler so they were (mostly) dry for the next day after a wet day riding the day before. We stayed in... Stayed here in October 2011. Whilst we can't fault the friendly service, we were disappointed with the room. It was on the ground floor at the side of the Hotel with a large hedge just a few feet from the window. We could have been anywhere really as we couln't see anything from the room itself. The walls were also... More

We stayed here for two nights as a prelude to walking the Great Glen Way. Hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was small but spotless and comfortable. The breakfast huge. Hosts kindly let us leave our car there whilst we went on with the walk. Good location within the town - shame about the climate, it does rain... More

This guesthouse is easy to find and is in an excellent location with amazing views to the front of the property. Car parking is free, on site and plentiful. We were greeted very warmly and offered help with out luggage. Our rooms were spacious for a guest house with decent en suite showers with good quality shower products provided. The... More

Arriving here after a wet, windy hike, we were warmly greeted and looked after by the very solicitous and friendly owners. The room, while basic, was clean, and afforded a lovely view. The defining feature of the Guisachan, however, is the management, which works diligently, and successfully, to create a friendly and helpful atmosphere. They made restaurant recommendations, ordered a... More

This was the final night of our West Highland Way walk- we were *shattered* and sore. Such a warm and helpful welcome from the lovely hostess eased our way. I had a comfortable single room at the back with a very nice en suite shower including good quality shampoo and shower gel. The TV was tiny but worked fine. The... More
