Stayed here 3 days with my family, including young kids, at the end of April 2012, and really enjoyed it: superb location, stunning views, nice hotel with comfortable rooms (esp 'Mull', the King Size one) & very friendly & helpful service - highly recommended if you're looking for an amazing place in the Glencoe/Fort William area. Thanks Mary & Kirstie!... More

I was very pleasantly surprised by this lovely property perched on the very edge of Loch Linnhe, about a 15 min drive from Fort William. The bedrooms were exquisitely decorated with just the right mix of modern and traditional, equipped with everything you would normally find at a B&B and guest house, plus some very thoughtful extras like shower gel,... Hello, Elsa, thank you very much for your kind words! It was lovely to meet you and your parents last month. I just wanted to let you know that we do have hair-dryers in all the rooms (normally in one of the drawers), and there is an iron and board available on request. I hope you enjoyed the rest of... We have just had a lovely two nights stay at Cuilcheanna House. The location is absolutely wonderful with the house just on the shores of the Loch. We had a room with a loch view. It was beautifully decorated and we slept so well. The owners Mary and Kirstie were so friendly and welcoming. They are happy to help whenever... More

We were very happy with Cuilcheanna House. Great location right on the Loch, easy to take day trips. Also very quiet to sleep. There were several good restaurants nearby (don't miss Lochleven Seafood Cafe if you like seafood, unbelievable!)Our rooms were very spacious with a lovely view of the loch. The whole house is warm and welcoming and Mary and... More

In September, I could have stayed for so much longer in this lovely home. The breakfast was fabulous, rivaled only by the warmth and charm of our welcome. The rooms were bright, clean and airy with lovely views, irrespective of aspect. There was plenty of hot water to shower off a chilly day. I would stay here again in a... More

Great hospitality and very comfortable and clean rooms. Glorious location. We enjoyed some great walks and good views of wildlife in the local area. Wonderful breakfasts every day with lovely fresh fruit and vegetarian sausages always available. Thanks to Kirstie and Mary for making our stay so special. More

We stayed at Cuilcheanna House in September 2011. Charming place on the shores of the Loch. Very clean, tastefully decorated. The table cloths spotless all the time. Great breakfast served in a lovely breakfast room. There is a small cozy living room on the ground floor, if you feel like joining the other guests, or watching TV. The place has... More

Not knowing quite where to stop for one night on our way from Glasgow to Skye, my sister and I chose Cuilcheanna House for convenience and availability more than anything. So what a lovely surprise to discover a really lovely B&B that set us up perfectly for our Highland adventure. The sun was still shining as we drove from the... More

We stayed at the Cuilcheanna House near the end of our driving tour of Scotland. Unlike many of the B&Bs in the area, it is off the main road, yet well marked, and has ample parking. The setting on Loch Linnhe is spectacular and the rooms are quite comfortable. Like many of the other highly rated B&Bs on TripAdvisor, the... More

Such a wonderful stay here! Kirstie and Mary are excellent hostesses and made me feel very welcome. The room was perfect and spotless! Absolutely great views in every direction you turn, and several walking trails for other picture spots as well (they let you know about these!) Location is perfect. Since I was traveling without a car, Kirstie went out... More
