Inveran is a magnificent house. To describe it as a B&B is to describe the discovery of electricity as a trick of the light. It is a house which has a fine balance between its internal structures and its external gardens; it is a well-defined and consciously represented space in which one can luxuriate and do nothing or fire up... We happened on Inveran Lodge by accident and what a wonderful surprise. Rosemary was a charming and extremely friendly hostess. We immediately felt comfortable and at home in her superb historical lodge. There were many little extras which made our stay most pleasant and enjoyable, for example the afternoon tea with home made cake. Breakfast was five star, cooked to... More

We have just returned from another short stay at Inveran and as usual had a wonderful time. Rosemary is a fantastic hostess, everything is impeccable, and you can be assured of a very relaxing time. Our year old daughter also loves staying at Inveran, and Rosemary provided her with so many toys that we didn't need to take any of... More

Stayed with Rosemary recently with my family (2 young children) and had a wonderful time. Superb breakfast, accommodating some odd requests from our children! Lovely furnished rooms, very clean and also child/toddler friendly. An added bonus was the extra toys Rosemary provided for entertainment. A wonderful and relaxing stay all round.

Stayed last summer (sorry its taken so long to post a review Rosemary) with my wife and 2 young kids. I'd agree with all the other positive reviews and add the children were made to feel very welcome. Rosemary also provided 2 cots and numerous other child related bits and pieces we needed. Highly recommended.

This B&B is superb. The house is more than 100 years old but still very stately. The host, Rosemary, is friendly, acommodating, gracious, knowledgeable, a great chef and a good friend to have while staying in Nairn. Breakfast was superb every day with lots of choices. The town of Nairn is beautiful with great restaurants and pubs while situated right... More

Inveran Lodge offered everything that I could possibly have wished for - not only very comfortable and spacious accommodation but also loads of unexpected extras including afternoon tea and cakes, sherry, and Sky Sports. However the attention to detail throughout elevated this stay at least to the level of top hotels. The hostess, Rosemary, crowned the whole visit by advising me which local... More
