We've visited Nairn many times but this was our first stay in the Braeval. The room was clean and comfortable, with a superb view across the firth - the only down side was that the bathroom was slightly cramped. The breakfast was excellent and all staff helpful and friendly. We will return.

The Braeval Hotel is a friendly pub-hotel overlooking Nairn beach. It has spectacular sea views and is close to Nairn town centre and between Nairn’s two championship golf courses. It is a Victorian Villa with 8 en-suite bedrooms, some with sea views. The hotel has a cosy Residents Lounge with log fire and original stone wall. The hotel’s Bandstand Bar won CAMRA Highland Pub of the Year 2009, 2010 & 2011. It has 10 Real Ale pumps is Cask Marque accredited and consistently appears in The Good Beer Guide. The hotel's sea view Restaurant offers excellent Sea Food, Steaks and traditional Scottish dishes from locally sourced produce. The décor reflects the character of the Fishertown area of Nairn. It has original stone walls and period photographs of Nairn when it was a fishing port. Bottlenose dolphins are regularly seen from the Restaurant.
