Great experience. 1st stay in B&B. Large corner suite with dressing room and updated bath. Nicely furnished, comfortable bed and tasty (to order) breakfast. Grounds beautiful for wandering and observing wildlife and flowers. Owners extremely gracious and helpful, both in planning for our stay and making sure our stay was everything we hoped it would be. Made dinner reservations for... More

This is an out of town B&B (3 mls) from Elgin.. Booked twin rooms for 2 nights in this well maintained Edwardian B&B, lovely large en suite room with three beds I cannot remember the room number (just to let fellow travellers know the ensuite is for this room only) to feel secure you have to lock the bedroom door... This is a beautiful house in great surroundings. The room was excellent with everything you might need. Breakfast superb. Laterooms found it for me when everywhere was full. I felt I paid a lot for B&B but all the hotels around there seem overpriced and it was proportionate to those (Premier Inn wanted £104/night)

Our family of three was visiting from Canada. Our hostess was very helpful and communicated well with us through email. This was easily the largest room we were in amongst all the B&Bs we stayed at during our trip to Scotland. The house was spacious and beautiful. The very expansive grounds allowed for a long wooded walk. We enjoyed a... More

Looking to 'get away from it all' for a night somewhere between Inverness and Aberdeen, Ardgye House ticked all the boxes for us. Lovely Edwardian house and quiet location, Not only was the bedroom huge and beautifully appointed with panoramic window from which we could watch red squirrels in the trees, we also had a dressing room as well as... The Ardgye and Staff fully deserve 5 Star recognition. We spent 3 nights there in March 2013. It was our second visit to Ardgye to celebrate our wedding anniversary and to allow me to recover from a small operation. We were welcomed into the Ardgye on a very cold afternoon and sat by the lovely log fire and served tea... More

Booked last minute for three nights with family. Late arrival was no problem and roaring wood burning stove still on in the reception was very welcoming on a cold and snowy evening. Breakfast was excellent and watching the red squirrels, pheasants etc etc was great fun and a great fascination to granddaughter. Had a lovely walk in the snowy grounds... More

Ardgye house was booked for my daughters wedding, for a party of around a dozen. The luxury Edwardian mansion is a perfect wedding setting, giving an intimate atmosphere - although it is only five miles outside Elgin on the road to Inverness. It is dificult to put all the excellent features in order, but firstly Kerry who lives in the... More

It would be hard to find better. Rooms enormous beds extremely comfortable I slept like a baby. Bathroom spotless and again huge. Breakfast delicious and lots of it. And owners just so delightful. My reason for stay was the weather conditions for the road from Aviemore to Elgin was due to be very icy and as had to be in... More
