We stayed here for a night to attend an event at a nearby hotel. Great location near the train station and overlooking the park with plenty of parking. Room was very comfortable with everything you could possibly require and the staff were very helpful. We paid £79 for a double room booking directly with the hotel but this didn't include...

we booked through bookings.com i think this may be why the room we were allocated was not great (letham ) The room was cold throughout our stay, despite the radiators being turned up full. The view from our very draughty window was awful i.e a train station and road. Curtains were not properly hung from the window, cheap net curtains,...

We note the comments above but are unsure of many of them, Firstly the window is double glazed and has a new net and well hung (not cheap) curtains. There is a raidator in the room and should you feel cold, there is an additional fan heater in each room if required. The view from your room is that of...

We have stayed in this hotel several times over the years under different owners, and have always found it a comfortable hotel in a convenient location. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our one night here en route to Edinburgh to fly out on holiday. We plan to go back again for a longer break when we can. We stayed (7th October) for one night as it was our 5th wedding anniversary, and from start to finish the whole experience was absolutely first class. On arrival we were greeted with a very warm welcome. The manager could see that we had baby boy with us and quickly give us hand with our luggage and took us to our...

From the minute we checked in we were looked after by very pleasant well trained staff. Our room was beautifully decorated in subdued modern colours. The bathroom was large and freshly decorated. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever experienced in any hotel. Dinner in the Bistro was excellent. Would we stay here again? Most definitely!

We booked a superior room for two nights using the hotel web site. We received a confirmation email. On turning up at the hotel after a 460 mile drive, we discovered there was no booking and the hotel was full. The receptionist did eventually come up with a room, with a promise of a better one the next night. We...
