Was pleased with my recent stay. The room was small but clean and the bed comfortable. Excellent view over river. Breakfast was fine. Parking not good but I knew that in advance. The service was good and I would stay again.

I spent a bank holiday weekend at the Royal George Hotel and have to say the staff were first class. Always attentive and going the extra mile to make me feel welcome and to enjoy my stay. Would recommend the Royal George if you happen to be in Perth.

An excellent hotel well placed for the city centre and the North Inch, dog friendly. The staff were excellent, helpful and looked after us, me and my wife and ageing black Labrador. Great room (34), good nights' sleep and an excellent breakfast.

In our opinion The George just needs a little bit of a freshen up and it could easily return to its obvious former glory. Stayed at the Royal George in Perth on Friday the 10th of May 2013, The hotel staff could not do enough to make our stay comfortable, the food was excellent and the rooms clean spacious and very comfortable. Perth is central to all of Scotland's beautiful attractions, and the Royal George Hotel was the ideal base.
