We have recently spent 6 mights with Martin and Heather. It is an excellent guest house and convenienty situated near to the A9 near Pitlochry. Although close to the A9 it is in no way noisy although you may not want to sit outside in the summer months. The accomodation was excellent and the breakfasts superb. All cooked to order... More

What an excellent B&B this is. My Partner and I stayed in the B&B for 3 nights, 11th to the 13th May 2012, There was a group of us staying at the Dalshian house with some of our group in the cosy lodges at the bottom of a the very beautiful garden. Martin and Heather were great hosts and nothing... More

Although slightly out of town ( half a mile or so ) this is a truly splendid location, surrounded by mature woodland, magnificent shrubs and picturesque gardens. The period house, although quirky in places, is extremely welcoming, with a fire in the lounge, a glass of sherry if you wish, and well appointed rooms, comfortable and tastefully furnished. The breakfast... More

Everything and I mean everything is wonderful about this B&B !! We have been to 5 star hotels and the breakfast served here is outstanding and would put them to shame. The owners really go the extra mile but not obtrusive at all. The sitting room is decorated beautifully and extremely comfortable. The surroundings are beautiful and within a woodland... More

On arrival at Dalshian House I admit I thought we may have slipped up as it didn't look too welcoming from outside, but as soon as we entered the front hall our worries slipped away. The hosts were warm and welcoming, the house is fabulous, and our bedroom was beautiful. It was a large room with a huge en suite... More

We have just returned from another splendid stay at this delightful guest house. The standards of this place never disappoint. The breakfast is exceptional. We stayed at Knockinaam Lodge (michelin star ) near Portpatrick recently and their breakfast wasn't as good as Martin and Heather's. The introduction of light meals is a great idea, saves going up town and spending... More

Lovely to arrive & be asked when we would like afternoon tea. Heather's baking was delicious & surpassed all other restaurants/hotels I have been to for Afternoon Tea. We enjoyed so much of it we had to wait several hours before we could consider going out for dinner! One restaurant Heather recommended was Victoria's in Pitlochry & we had a... More

We had an enjoyable stay and given good directions to a beautiful restaurant down the road. The room was comfortable and the bathroom good. They even gave us an early cooked breakfast when asked that was delcious. The only problem was noisy guests arriving home talking outside our door. We were on the first floor More

We bought an Itison voucher for this hotel. The main reason for doing this was that our dog was allowed in the hotel. On arrival we were offered a lovely afternoon tea. Choice of sandwiches, home made scones and cakes. Our room was on the 2nd floor (Tummel room). It was very comfortable. Nice bed with lovely bedding. TV, small... More
