We were going to a wedding in the Brig o Doon and a large group of us stayed in By the Sea and Craggallen. We had a fantastic stay! Each of the rooms are beautifully decorated, comfy and warm. The breakfast is epic! Location is really convenient for Ayr town centre and was only a short taxi ride to Brig... More

Just back from a stay in Ayr, this b&b is well situated for the beach and a walk into town, but that is all. The room was tired looking, and over furnished in my opinion, would not be my choice of stay again - hope it improves after the make over planned :-(( More

We stayed here for one night before getting the ferry from Troon. We had a ground-floor double room. The room itself was small but this was made up for by the conservatory facing onto the garden! Just a lovely unique thing! House was very quite as the main house is further up the street and we were just one of... More

We received such a warm welcome here in this clean, up-to-date B&B close to the beach and easy to find. The owners were so helpful, and the breakfasts were great -- so much variety, and the fruit was wonderful. My son loved the sea, and I loved visiting Robert Burns' museaum and Culzean Castle. The location of the B&B made... More

We stayed here over a Friday and Saturday night recently. I found it a bit odd that when you arrive the door is locked and no-one is around. There is a note on the door telling you to phone the owner, who as I was doing this appeared along the road. Breakfast has to be pre-ordered which means you can... More

Great spot to make home for a few days on the coast while touring. Julie has a wonderful thing going here and with her sister spot "bythesea" Gueat House can accommodate lots of travellers. Check-in was somewhat effortless and Julie had a great main floor suite saved for my inlaws and we had a spacious room on the third floor... More

Beautifully decorated (an enormous bed in room 3), everything required was supplied. Breakfast delicious with plenty of choice. Preferred breakfast tables seperated rather than as one big table as had a young child. Have already reccommended to friends and family, would stay again. Like staying in a deluxe hotel but with the bonus of friendly staff! Perfect location for shops,... More
