We stayed with Joyce and Michael at the end of March/beginning of April 2012. On arrival, we were greeted by Michael who gave us a parking permit and showed us to our room.We immediately felt at ease and welcome. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated and immaculately clean (we had booked the luxury suite with 4-poster bed).Tea, coffee, biscuits. spring... More

This was a gorgeous house, beautifully decorated and furnished with a feel of luxury. It is situated on a grand quite road. We had the four poster room which was very spacious and the decor was well thought out. A lot of attention to detail has gone into this guest house which makes it special. It is immaculately clean. We don't usually do B & Bs but when I read this had 5 stars I was curious. It definitely can give most 5 star hotels a run for their money. Small but beautifully formed, everything that you might want but don't expect to get was in place.....from the welcome, the care and attention to detail was great, bottled water,... More

First visit to Ayr. Received a great Scottish welcome. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed. The five star rating is well desired. Michael and Joyce really look after you. Next time I visit this will be the place for me. Oh and the full Scottish breakfast really sets the day of nicely. More

I found No. 26 The Crescent on a website and was impressed with its exceptional reviews so I booked it up for Saturday 14th April 2012. It was a wonderful experience. Everything about our stay at The Crescent was excellent from booking until the moment we checked out. Michael went out of his way to help us, no request was too big or too small. Highly recommend! More
