The place was clean and cheap. We stayed there for 4 nights. The location is great for getting access to the region during the day. In the evening apart from Frankie And Benny's there are no nice places to go unless you drive or take a cab.

We chose to stay here, as we had an early flight from Prestwick airport.
Wouldnt recommend this hotel. We arrived to be "welcomed" by grumpy receptionist. Got to our room, which was freezing! We noticed someone had already tried to plug the ill fitting window with paper, but it was still blowing a gale through the cracks.

This is not a good hotel.
Travel lodges are generally not great but this tops the flops.
The beds are unbelievably bad. The floor may have been more comfortable. The mattresses seem to be made of cardboard and a few springs.
In addition
1. The pillows were very poor quality and thin.
2. The room was extremely cold

Needed a place to stay before flying out from Prestwick. Paid £28 for the night. Would have chosen Holiday Inn Express over the road but they were £27 more expensive and all we needed was a bed and a shower.

We stayed here as part of a group of 8 spread across two of the family category rooms, whilst attending an event held in Troon. The hotel was easy to find by road and upon arrival, the receptionist was very helpful and allowed us to check-in both rooms before everyone had arrived. Our room was large enough and had plenty...

Started with the desk being unattended despite us ringing twice. Person that did attend unfriendly and not welcoming at all. Room very basic...bed very soft pillows were flat as pancakes. I got raised eyebrows from the man at the desk when asked for more pillows. Noisey road and basically won't use Travelodge again no matter what they are charging. Need...

Pity as this place is well located for roads and good parking BUT the bed we had ranked as the lumpiest and creaking that I've experienced since youth hostelling days four decades back. It was cheap but the bed destroyed any chance of a good nights rest. The room itself size wise was fine but could have done with a...
