Just spent our second weekend at the rob roy. There was a cher/lady Gaga. Tripute night on the Saturday night. Girl was fantastic! Meal was lovely.good party atmosphere, the dance floor was full all night. A great mix of ages, from a group of girls in their twentys on a hen night to a eighty birthday party. Breakfast was great... More

We stayed here over a long-weekend with a group of Motorcyclists. It was an organised package with the Hotel, on a Dinner, Bed & Breakfast basis which proved to be fantastic value for money. When we arrived, we were absolutely soaking wet but when we entered our room it was so warm and welcoming, it was heavenly! Throughout the weekend,... More

Paid for upgraded room, don't think we needed to after seeing other rooms which look a good size. Room clean and cleaned every day we were there (4 nights). Nice breakfast and a good choice for evening meal plus complementary bottle of wine on first night, 4 nights DBB ~£89. hard to beat. Staff all very friendly and work hard,... More

I have spent many weekends here with my line dance group of friends and we always have a great time. The accomodation is great, good sized rooms, clean bathrooms and the food is lovely. The function room can get a bit hot in summer but electric fans soon sorted that out. Plenty of places nearby to visit too.

I was very apprehensive about this hotel , I was taking my Father inlaw and Sister inlaw April 12/13th and from the outside it didnt look much but I had trusted reviews on trip advisor. Ok its a litte tired inside and needs a bit updating but other than that its good value for money, not what we are all... More

I have passed this hotel many times it always looks from the road like its closed down. So when it was picked as a venue for our trip I was a little surprised to say the least. I read some reports on here but arrived with an open mind, I read its a coach tour hotel as I used to... More

We were on a cycling tour of the Trossachs and needed B&B due to bad weather. The Rob Roy was recommended by Tourist Info. and at £35 per night was good value - the rooms were clean and warm and the staff were friendly. However, there were no drying facilities for wet gear, no secure bike storage and the walk... More

This was an overnight trip for almost 100 members of the 50/60 Club. The service was excellent from the moment we arrived until we left the following morning. The staff were welcoming and helpful and really couldn't do enough to help us. The accommodation was comfortable and spotlessly clean and the food was first class. Great value for money and... More

Booked the trip for 12 people. We have all been up for the weekend breaks before. We always ask for rooms furthest away from the reception/bar area as people pass at early hours of the morning after having a good night out. For the price that you pay for a full weekend dinner Friday night followed by music, breakfast then... More
