Stayed here with my family last weekend. I just wish we could stay longer. Have visited Clare on numerous occasions but only discovered Ardilaun on this visit. My regret is that we did not discover it earlier. Warm modern welcoming with best breakfasts I've ever eaten in both hotels and guesthouses. The room was clean but very cold - no heating was turned on during my stay. Owners are unpleasant and only do the bare minimum that is required. Avoid if possible. More

Sorry but there was nothing we could recommend about this property. Very overpriced, cold in both ambience and temperature. Very shabby with a strong smell of mould and cigarette smoke. It was recommended by the tourist office and they should know better. The wi fi didn't work property and should not be advertised as available. The hosts made brief appearances... More
