One of the reasons I picked this place was that the manager had bothered to respond to previous comments, good and bad. I found all the staff to be friendly, helpful and efficient, and loved the view over the river from my room. Breakfast was fine, not a five-star buffet, but you're not paying five-star prices, and other meals were... More

This hotel is only two blocks from the bus station and a 10 minute (or less) walk from great shopping and restaurants. We chose Cork as a base for three nights in May and took Bus Eirann to Blarney and Kinsale. The hotel is very nice. The bar had delicious traditional Irish food and reasonably priced drinks. The breakfast was... More

This hotel is an absolute disaster. The girl on reception when I checked in looked dishevelled, disinterested and was the most unhelpful person that I have come across in the hospitality industry. The bar staff were almost but not quite as bad and the food was very poor. The room was the usual Jurys Inn in furnishings and style which... More

This hotel is located next to a Simon Community hostel and on one occasion there was a homeless man sleeping at the entrance to the carpark but he was more interested in getting asleep than bothering us. We were lucky and got into the carpark during the 2 days we stayed there. We were allocated a room at the rear on... More

Nice hotel in a good location close to the bus station and an easy walk into the city. Its nothing fancy so if you're expecting anything more than a simple hotel, then keep looking. Rooms are adequate and clean. Buffet breakfast available at a €10 cost. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Wifi comes at a cost.....a personal gripe of... More

Arrived to Jurys Inn Cork after a 3 hour drive. Found the Hotel laid on 3 surprises for me: 1. Hotel Carpark is tiny, only 20 spaces - so told by staff I would need to use a public carpark accross the river, at a cost of 10 Euros per night!! 2. Whilst walking into the hotel my wife was... More

Dear Reviewer I would like to apologise for the issues you encountered during your stay. The hotel offers carparking for a limited number of guests. If a space is not available we offer several options for guest parking. These options are explained clearly on the Jurys Inn website. The carparks which we recommend offer significant discounts to our guests. The... More

Stayed here when visiting relatives in and around Cork. Hotel rooms are a bit tired and in need of refurbishment but quite comfortable. Had two evening meals during our stay which were above average in quality and size & reasonably priced. Car park is small but good thing is that it is gated because the hotel is situated in a... Jurys does the job for a overnight stay, the hotel is clean but lacks a bit of personality as most chain hotels do, the rooms are decent and the buffet breakfast wasn't based either, Parking is a issue as it can be hard to find if the small hotel car park is full.I wouldn't be wax lyrical about this hotel... I stayed here in March and I have to say that it is the worst hotel by far in Cork and I have stayed in Hostels!! firstly the food from the kitchen is a shambles very basic and plastic the hotel itself is very old and the rooms I found to be cold, you have to pay for WiFi which... More

Some people have really panned this place. Firstly, yes the few streets around it are a bit rough, but it's a city centre guys, what do you expect? And yes there's only a small car park - again, that's what you get if you want to stay in the city centre! I've stayed here twice and on both occasions the... More
