In March 2013 my wife and I made our second visit to Auburn House and thoroughly enjoyed our stay as a result of the charm and personalized attentiveness of Kieran and Olive. As stated by another reviewer, a warm welcome is priceless, and that is precisely what you'll find at this bed and breakfast. If you enjoy authentic experiences with... More

Loved this b&b. Olive greeted us with a smile, tea, coffee and kit kats and instantly let us know directions, maps and city sights. Our room was on the top floor and was large with decent sized ensuite aswell. Our room was quiet and felt very looked after. What we liked: The kind hospitality and warm greeting Wifi in our... More

Olive & Kieran were great hosts & very knowledgeable about local pubs & eating establishments. Our room was very clean and our breakfast more than adequate. The location, just a few blocks fom the center of Cork was also a plus!

Wonderful friendly and kind hosts. Great Irish hospitality , nothing was ever to much trouble, very clean and modern comfortable room. The breakfast were very good and only 5 minute walk to town. Very good value for money. We decided to stay and extra night because it was a perfect place to explore Cork, but also Cobh and Kinsale which... More

My friend Sarah and I were traveling by bicycle in April 2011, starting out from Cork City. We were so happy to base out of the Auburn House B & B while we gathered our gear and shopped for groceries. The dining room is cozy, Olive and Kieran are kind and cook delicious breakfasts, and are very knowledgeable about traveling... More

I stayed at Auburn House in November, and in addition to its ideal central location, the hosts are very warm and helpful. Kieran parked my car upon arrival and Olive helped me with my plans while I was in Cork. Rooms were basic- but very clean and warm. The hosts were as hospitable as they could have been which is... As mentioned in other reviews, this BnB is in an ideal location because its in the centre of the city but on a hill which shelters it from the rowdiness you'd expect from a big city. It's about half way between Kent Station and Parnell Place bus station, approximately 8 minutes from each. The owners Olive and Kieran made our... More

I stayed there for a week-end visiting Cork, and it was a lovely place. The owner, Olive, was very friendly and helped me in my visit plans. The room was comfortable and the breakfast excellent. Although it's quite close to the centre, the place itself is very quiet. One piece of advise though: the B&B is located on a top... More
