“A Break from the bustle”

Ardnamona House, lived up to our expectations. We went for a romantic break, enjoyed walks in the gardens, coffee in the drawing room and serenity throughout our stay. chill out; Ardnamona was just what we wanted- not stuffy, overpriced or air-connned.Our bathroom was big and airy- so a little chill, but that just makes you snuggle up in towels from bath to bed more quickly. I LIKED that we didn't see the owners. And loved the trust bar, late night walks, late rising...a few noisy kids wouldn't spoil... More

Despite its picturesque and remote setting by Lough Eske, our stay at the Ardnamona was less than enjoyable. The house is advertised everywhere as a quiet country retreat ideal for romance and relaxation. We found the place neither quiet nor romantic.
