Island View House took us at the end of the day, impromptu. The place is lovely and is situated on a hill overlooking Donegal Bay. The view from my window was so inspiring and restful. We had a very satisfactory stay at this B&B, our host Bernadette was friendly and very kind. Rooms/bath were clean and functional, breakfast fine, quiet, location with a great view. Would stay there again.

we stayed at this B&B for two nights in May 2010. The location suited us as we were able to walk into the town. there were lovely views from our window. the breakfast was nice. the decor could do with updating but it was very reasonable and we would stay again.

Only a short walk to Donegal town, about 10 minutes, but plenty of taxi's. only stayed one night but very comfortable and very reasonable. lovely breakfast. If traditional music is what you like - check out the Reel Inn by the castle. also a good pub/restaurant opposite the castle
